Well I was first loser this weekend! I finished up in 2nd place is right under 22lbs. My co-angler however won 1st place! This irony here is very comical. Last year during the same time of year I drew out a client of mine, Roland Wade, as my co angler. I won that BFL, and he came in 2nd place by 2 ounces!!! I am very thankful to come in 2nd place. I had an amazing day fishing. One of the most fun days on the water. It was cast after cast after cast. Several times I would set my rod down to net my co anglers fish, and when I would come back there would be a 4lber swimming around with my bait! I knew I need to cull another fish to have a shot at winning. I did cull my last fish with a 5.5lber with 30minutes to go though!

My main bait, just like practice, was the True Bass Swimbaits perfect head 5.5 with a 3/4 ounce True Lock head. When they would stop biting that I would throw a 3/4 Guntersville Special Tightline Jig with a Rage Craw on the back. Looking forward to the Super Tournament at the end of September, and the Wheeler Regional in October.
