Wilson Lake Fishing Report - April 2015

Wilson Fishing Report

Water Temperature: 65
Water Clarity: 1 foot

Wilson Lake is the GEM in North Alabama. Hardly pressured like all the other lakes. It is such a treat to get on and fish! Peaceful...

It was steady for us all day catching fish throughout most of the day. All of our fish came on True Bass 4.5 in 99 problems and Rapala DT16s! My client caught his personal best largemouth AND smallmouth in ONE DAY! He described the day as "magical." It was for sure. He caught the big largemouth on his 3RD CAST! He was on fire.

The water was dingy in areas, but there is definitely clean water to fish. The fishing will pick up even more as more and more fish transition into the post spawn phase. Swimbaits, Rapala DT20s and carolina rigs will come into play as they come offshore.

Give me a call I have available days on May 26, 29. June 3-5, 8-17.

Lets go fishin'!
