Wilson Lake is one of the best lakes in the south!! People really just don't know about the quality of fish that swim there. Had a perfect day with a client this week catching around 20 fish. The first three fish we caught we had a grand slam! (smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass). There aren't many lakes around where you can do that. We caught several fish over 4lbs that day, and ended up with a heft bag of largemouth. Everyone needs to fish Wilson Lake sometime this year. It is only 15,930 acres, but is has some great big smallmouth and largemouth swimming around. We targeted fish at the tailrace and boat docks with jerkbaits, crankbaits, jigs, and alabama rigs.
