This report is for Friday and Saturday. I finished up a 3 day trip with a father and two son trio. We had a great time catching around 60 fish on Friday. We started out the morning reeling a True Bass Swimbait on the surface like a horny toad and put some nice keepers in the boat. They didn't care if they were big or small so we whipped out the Rapala XRap Prop and started hammering them. Whats awesome is you will catch a 3 lber and bigger every now and then! Florida strain bass especially hate this lure :)
Saturday, we fished the LLCA bass classic fundraiser. Started out the day strong flipping a 4lber in the boat, and then we whipped out a black Terminator Frog and had a blast. My partner was on fire. He put both big fish in the boat. He had the hot stick that day. Ended up with 18.09 lbs and was fortunate enough to win the tournament. A big thanks to everyone who showed up for the fundraiser, and to the anglers that helped weigh in the fish.
It took 14.55lbs to win the ABA on Guntersville the same day. Congrats to James Stoler for his 2nd win in a row! He's buying.
I have days available this week, and throughout the rest of November. Lets go fishing!
