WOW! Lake Guntersville is fishing great right now. Fish are recovering from the Spawn and feeding heavily during low light conditions. There are a lot of skinny fish! Got out with a future Alabama fishing team student and we wacked on some fish! Caught over 20 fish for the day and our smallest was around 3 lbs. Our big fish was an 8Lber!!! Our big fish was caught flipping grass, and the majority of the rest of our fish came from topwater frogs and Zara Spooks! It has been a blast catching these crazy topwater fish. They are so aggressive and hit the bait so hard.
