September Fishing Guntersville 2014

Water Temperature: 88
Water Clarity: Not reported

Had a short morning Sunday trip with some great guys from Georgia. We started off the morning with a bang catching one on the first cast. We missed a good size frog fish first thing in the morning too... Probably close to 5lbs. It was his first frog bite! Remember to wait to set the hook once the take it. He is definitely hooked now though. We had best results fishing main lake scattered grass with senko's, big worms with vmc hooks, and topwater frogs.

Remember to drink a lot of water while you are fishing, and drink water the night before you go out. Safety is a big deal right now. As long as you stay hydrated in the heat you should have a great trip on Guntersville.

The Spro frog tournament is coming up! The frog fishing will get better from now until then. Lets go fishing!
