Pickwick lake sure has some big fish in it! It showed out for my young and talented client from Atlanta. We had an absolute blast catching fish all day long. We had to dodge a thunderstorm for about an hour, and I was able to teach him some cool fishing knots in our down time. We threw swimbaits all day long. We caught fish on bull shads and true bass swimbaits. Fish will randomly come up schooling this time of year, and we had a blast catching schoolers from time to time. The grass is looking GREAT on pickwick and should make for an AMAZING fall bite. Give me a call and schedule your trip!
