Went out fun fishing on Guntersville for half a day with my partner Phil. We had a blast catching fish right off the bat! They bit consistently all day for us. I even have a hybrid stripe spot we decided to stop at and catch a few for fun!
All of our fish came on a Tight Line Football Jig in Guntersville Special with a green pumpking craw on the back. Focusing on old grass in 12FOW. I love a good jig bite on Guntersville, and it was a ball setting the hook on these fish! They would even come up jumping around the boat for us.
If you are thinking about a trip this winter/spring give me a call for some awesome largemouth on Guntersville, or smallmouth on Pickwick. The smallmouth are biting so give me a call!
