Wheeler has been fishing great for the most part catching fish all over the lake. Right now you can catch fish on ledges, creeks, and main lake structure. Our main weapons of choice are Tightline jigs in green pumpkin orange, shaky heads, crankbaits, and a swim jig.
Had a great two day pre fishing trip on Wheeler. The wind was HOWLING both days. We managed to catch a 6lber (not pictured), and a lot of 3-4lb fish. The angler did well in his tournament as well as his co angler took 3rd!
