For anyone questioning the date that these guys fished with me it was on Sunday November 29th, 2015. They never stepped foot in my boat during off limits. I have date and time stamped pictures as well. Have Jon Stewart contact me (Ryan 256-508-5260) if there are ANY issues. Thanks! Have a great day!
Well the late fall patterns are kicking in hard for me. My first trip out after Thanksgiving on Guntersville was a great one... and WET. We fished X-Rap and Shadow Rap jerkbaits in albino shiner, tightlines swim jigs, and tightlines football jigs. We caught fish consistently all day until it really started pouring down rain. Then we got soaked. Literally. The fish should be chewing in different areas this week with all the current that will be flowing through the TVA lakes.
Look for fish in current breaks, bridges, and main lake humps. Jerkbaits, scatter raps, and shad raps should be heating up too. The remaining dead grass will be getting ripped out by the current which will help your casting in certain areas. The lake may become stained in certain areas. The water should clear up by next week with the Bassmaster Team Championship coming to Guntersville. I think it should take 23-25 a day to seal the deal! Maybe more...
I have days available this month and the fishing should be pretty awesome with these unseasonably warm temperatures for the month. Enjoy it now because it will probably freeze hard in January and February.
Lets go fishing!
