Lake Guntersville Report - March 13, 2017

Lake Guntersville March Fishing

Water Temperature: 60
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Need to catch up on some reporting for you guys. This post is the cold front post. They BIT for us these two days. I have found myself questioning the quality of the lake at times, however I truly believe it fishes tough due to the pressure. When they decide to turn on and eat its one of the TOP lakes in the country. It still has them in it.... Big fish of these two days was 8 and a half lbs!! Had close two 25lbs two days in a row. Best bite by far was a chatterbait paired with the True Bass 4.5 paired on the back, and the 1/4 ounce true lock head reeled over shallow grass. Sexy shad with R2D2 on the back or HOT SAUCE with chartreuse and white. ALSO a Chrome and Red trap. Big girl choked the chatterbait. Jerkbait has picked up a few from time to time. Had amazing numbers these two days as well with over 30 fish. Most of which being keepers.

I will be posting sequential reports after this to show the trend. I have several days to report on. Been booked solid, and too tired to do these in the evening!
