Lake Guntersville Post Spawn Bass Fishing - June 2015

Guntersville Ledge Fishing

Water Temperature: 82
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

We have had a great time catching some great fish on Lake Guntersville. There are slow periods throughout the day, but the fish seem to be biting pretty consistently. Main patterns are grass edges and deep stumps with hard bottom. We have caught fish on a plethora of lures including: Rapala DT 20s in Disco Shad, Scrounger with True Bass Little Head 4.5, Tight Lines 1/2 & 3/4 ounce jigs dragged and Stroked off bottom, and dragging soft plastics.

Topwater is around the corner. The spook bite should be on soon and it will be a great time catching some schoolers! Hope everyone has a great day!
