By far the best swimbait combo for us on the Tennessee River for ledge fishing is the True Bass Swimbaits 5.5 in Citron and 99 Problems.
Pair it with a 3/4 ounce True Lock Swimbait Head and get to Chunkin!
My favorite bait all year round for sure, but this time of year it is very strong for me. I catch a lot of big fish and numbers. The great thing about it is that these baits are stupid durable. They will last you 20 fish or more at times.
The key to catching them on a swimbait is to throw it. Too many people only pick it up every once and a while. I keep it in my hand. Try different retrieve speeds. Depth. Line Sizes, etc... Have fun with it!!
