What a fun day throwing topwater from start to finish. We used frogs and pop r's around scattered grass and grass edges to target summer feeding fish. They are eating the tiny shad fry so the smaller profile was best! You can keep a topwater in your hand all day if you want to right now. When they slow down you can switch to a big worm and definitely put some fish in the boat. Who wants to do that when theres topwater? We had great numbers and some good quality as well!! Especially for shallow grass fish this time of year.
