Guntersville Summer Fishing - June 2014

Water Temperature: 88
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

I was able to get on Guntersville for a few days with some great folks from West Virginia. We had a great morning and afternoon bite. It was pretty dead from 9-12pm. We ended up going shallow at the end of the day catching a toad on a frog in less than a foot of water. In the morning we were dragging 3/4 ounce tightline football jigs in 15-25 FOW. When the fish ate it the inhaled it as well. We bounced around to various ledges loosing a big fish at each one. It seemed like they weren't fully taking the bait for us that day. Still had a great day on Lake Guntersville!

Call for a summer frog fishing special!
