Alabama Bass Guide - First week of February Report
Well Guntersville has been a lot of fun for the first week of February and a grind at the same time. There were some days where they were jumping in the boat, and others we grinded all day for 10 bites. The trap bite has been pretty strong, but with the rising water and main lake becoming muddy the bite fell off slightly. We were focusing on 1-10 foot grass lines around main lake humps.
One afternoon we caught over 20 fish in 3 hours with several 4lb fish and a lot of 3lb fish. The biggest being 4.75. The bucks have definitely started moving around. After this cold snap the fishing will bust wide open on the next warming trend.
