Early June Bullshad - Lake Guntersville 2015

Lake Guntersville Bullshad fishing

Water Temperature: 82
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

Guntersville Fishing Report-LAST WEEK - This was posted and somehow got lost.

Guntersville has been fishing pretty great! We landed around 40 fish with some really consistent quality. All of the fish this day came on a Bull Shad. We threw dirty bone and gizzard shad in slow and fast sinks. We also threw the big 8 inch slow sink and had around 6 fish on it. Its amazing how small of a fish will strike the baits!

The water is flowing and pretty stained across the lake at the moment due to all the recent rains. The key to us catching fish has been finding the clearer water wherever that may be!

Fish are still eating worms on grass edges and we are catching a lot of fish on True Bass Swimbaits 4.5 reeled just over the top of the grass before it tops out. They will crush it... You can find True Bass Swimbaits at Goosepond Bait and Tackle!

I have days available throughout the next three weeks. Lets book your trip and catch some swimbait fish!
