Early February Pickwick Fishing Report - 2/2/2017
Water TEMP 55
This report is for the beginning of February on Pickwick Lake. Fish seem to be excited about these warming trends and the full mooon. I had a pre tournament trip and had a good day catching some good fish. We didn't try to catch them all. Just made a few passes on things to show where they were. Looks like it will be a great year on the WICK! Caught fish on some shallow cranks and True Bass Swimbaits 4.5 and NEW "Perfect Head" 5.5. Throwing the 1/2 ounce True Lock Head. I cant express how awesome this swimbait head is for whatever swimbaits you throw. It has an awesome hook with a screw lock that eliminates the need for super glue with True Bass. I recommend a slight drop with Basstrix or ZOOM so that the bait doesn't twist. However it will not fall down once she is sealed on there.
