Deep Swimbait for the Win - Guntersville March 29, 2014

Water Temperature: 55
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet

This report is for Thursday. Went out fun fishing with some buds of mine. Chris and Dusty are some STICKS! Big fish of the day fell to a swimbait and was a busty 8lbs!!

We fished on the lower end focusing on deeper transition areas. Rocky banks that fall into 20 foot of water have been the best producers for us. Dragging a jig and throwing a swimbait are producing the same catch rates for us so it is a toss up on to which one you want to throw. The jig seems to be slightly better when the water becomes slick calm. Best color for us is Green Pumpkin orange and Guntersville Special in the Tightline Jigs.

The key right now is to be persistent!! I now have April 21-24th open. I am getting married on May 3rd so that weekend is off limits! I will be back on the water the following week. Lets go fishing!

Tight lines.
