This report is for the Airport Marine tournament. I fished it with a good friend of mine and we SMASHED them! Had an absolute blast catching fish on topwater all day. The spook bite has been really great. Lost some really great fish that would have put us right with the winning weight of 27lbs. But HEY, That's fishin' :) Ended up finishing in 6th place with 22.25 lbs. Finished up the day throwing soft plastics around grass, and had a great cull right before weight in. I will be posting reports from this week over the weekend. The reports will be some good ones; fishing has been great!!! Lets go fishing, I have openings coming up.
